The international trade fair for mechanical engineering, metalworking, automation, electronics, electrical engineering, production supplies, tools and innovated technologies “Tech Industry 2017” that is the largest event for metalworking and mechanical engineering in the Baltic countries and, this year, brings together the world’s leading equipment manufacturers, is to take place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga, Latvia from November 30 to December 2.
More than 270 companies from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Taiwan and other countries will take part in “Tech Industry 2017”. Moreover, the national collective stands of Belarus, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Italy, Finland and Germany will offer information on the offer of their producers.
Grand demonstration of equipment and technology
The European and world’s equipment giants will show in Kipsala the most advanced metalworking and industrial equipment, mechanical and welding equipment, power tools, air flow and hydro technologies, metalworking products, automation and control systems, hydraulic equipment, measuring equipment, electronic and electrical products, gas supply equipment, warehouse equipment, personal protection equipment, packaging and materials, loading and unloading equipment etc.
Collective stand of Latvian Manufacturers
The Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries (MASOC), this year again, is arranging a cluster stand with the participation of Latvian mechanical engineering and metalworking enterprises to present a wide range of products and services – equipment and machines for various sectors of the economy, solutions for the energy sector, and all kinds of metalworking services. Moreover, MASOC also offers a chance to pre-arrange meetings with other association members – more than 150 enterprises.
Furthermore, MASOC will offer information on its current projects, topical issues of the industry and the opportunity to get training in the mechanical engineering and metalworking at all levels.
Mobile Demo Lab "TehnoBuss"
The mobile demonstration laboratory "TehnoBuss" featuring advanced production technologies and designed to inform youth about the study and career opportunities in the sector will be parked in front of the exhibition centre. "TehnoBuss" visits general education institutions in all regions of Latvia and provides information on metalworking technologies in an attractive way.

International conference "Industry 4.0 in Riga and Beyond"
On December 1, MASOC, in collaboration with the German–Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK), Riga City Council and the Ministry of Economics, holds an international conference "Industry 4.0 in Riga and Beyond", which focuses on digitization of production and ways to use it to strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises.
